Due to the ecconomic climate, currently our weekend events comprise just the Saturday and the Sunday, but in the future we plan to return to including a Friday evening start.
Combat Operations Events
The current shape of a standard combat operations weekend is as follows:
10:00 ~ 13:00 Saturday: Arrivals and gearing up.
13:00 Saturday ~ 02:00 Sunday: "Time-In" You are now at war!, thirteen hours of briefings, missions, debriefings and training scenarios. Punctuated by the evenning meal
02:00 ~ 09:30 Sunday: "Time-Out" - Socialising & bedtime. This is done to ensure that those who have long drives on the Sunday, get enough sleep to have a safe journey home. It is particularly important as some of our players in the past have come from as far afield as Cardif and Carlisle. Those who don't have far to go, or who aren't driving, take this time to break open a bottle or two for some friendly socialising.
09:30 ~ 10:00 Reveille
10:00 ~ 10:30 Breakfast
10:30 ~ 16:00 Sunday: More missions and training
16:00 ~ 18:00 Sunday: "Game-Over", clear up, pack up and depart.
