Welcome To Five One |
About This PageThis site is provided by Department Five One here at DSTL, Porton Down, and is intended to carry reports upon artefacts, materials and personnel recovered via the STAR GATE at RGHQ-51.Note that following the loss of all archives during the enemy action at CON-56 Operation Stalling Down on 26 NOV05, and the various subsequent enemy actions, we are at this time only able to offer a very limited service. There is considerable doubt that the missing reports will be recovered at any point in the future. However their "slots" will be maintained, and we will endeavour to update these records. We apologise for the inconvenience. For completeness, we have included slots for ALL operations, including those without off-world missions, which would not normally provide material that would be the subject of a report. To jump to a desired report for an operation simply click upon the operational number highlighted as a link in white on a black background. Where these documents have been updated, the update date is stated beneath each entry. Entries in greyed out boxes are place holders without reports. Logging In of Artefacts, Materials & PersonnelPlease note that we can only provide reports on recovered persons or materials etc., that are actually logged with, and sent to us here at DSTL. An absence of data is NOT our responsibility. Therefore please take care to log in items correctly as errors will cause confusion for future analysts. See SOP-A01 Artefact Log-In for instructions on how to do this. A printed template is available for field use.DSTL Miscellaneous ReportsWhen aplicable, you will find surviving and future lab reports that do not fall under the criteria of particular operations, listed in the DSTL Miscellaneous Reports table immediately below. These reports are listed in alphabetical order by title. The upper date is the first edition, the latter is when it was last updated.Security ClearanceAll documents are classified as CONFIDENTIAL (red) for EYES ONLY study on-line, and must not be copied, reproduced, or printed, or possessed by personnel without a UNSGC SC of TOP SECRET (grey), subject to higher authority.Intelligence Notes:(1) CON-023 Op. STANFORD BRIDGE 19 DEC 99 is also known as Op. FIRST STRIKE, as it was the first real opportunity to engage the T1 enemy on their own ground.(2) 2001 was the peak of Solar Cycle 23, aka Sunspot Maximum, and it was considered as responsible for the reduction in the actual number of viable natural GATE activations at that time. The following cycle (#24) started circa 2011, peaked in 2013 and tailed off through 2015. Although this was the weakest cycle for 100 years, it also resulted in a poor crop of GATE activations, and spurred the development of the XAD1471. 2016 was a good year, but unexpectedly 2017 was not. The forecast for 2018 and 2019 look excellent. Solar Cycle 25 is expected to commence circa 2022~2023. It is hoped that this will not effect the use of the XAD1471 for forcing artifitial GATE activations. |
