A well wind battered SAMURAI encampment. Everything, the flags, the camp curtain or JIN MAKU, all somewhat worse for wear due to gale force winds. As of 2016 we have learned how to secure the camp curtain in such a way that it will hopefully survive the next typhoon, bigger and stouter pegs, and better knots.
The tent is European, as at this time the Japanese tent or AKUNOYA, was not finished. So it was regarded as a gift from the barbarians to our noble lord. See HERE for an interior shot. In front of the tent you can see a Japanese table covered in a dismounted armour. Next to it is a weapons rack with bows and spears. |
