Our brand new Japanese tent, deployed for the first time in late 2015. It is roughly about 10 metres long, 4 metres wide, by 3 metres tall. The roof is made in the so-called five lucky colours of black, white, red, yellow and blue. The walls are in fact our JIN MAKU or camp curtain, normally used to surround the camp. But these could, in emergencies be used as improvised walls. The JIN MAKU has the Fight School's crossed swords MON (crest) painted in red on a pale blue background.
In the foreground, left to right, we have: Nick Cockayne, Simon Anderson in the armour, and myself Dean Wayland kneeling at the front of the tent. Image courtesy of Susan Furlong Click image to return to Gallery |
