| On campaign. Here Nick is pictured wearing the typical "crushed" or "folded" black linen cap called an EBOSHI, secured by a white cotton folded "war wrap" or HACHIMAKI. He is ready to fight, which you can tell by the fact that the sleeves of his dark blue KIMONO are tied back with a white TASUKI. This is a strip of cotton tied in a figure of eight around the ends of his sleeves, so that they don't get in the way while weilding a sword. |
