TASC, unofficially The Antarctic Stargate Command, publically known as The Antarctic Survey Commission a former sub-contractor to NATO, was a division of the private millitary company Executive Resources.

ER under the title TASC, conducted very limited off-world operations between January 1994 and July 1996, whereafter the UN's CONTACT Program, again run by ER, but under the tight supervision of UN Committee 78, replaced TASC.

Prior to this the three major NATO members of the US, France and the UK, were under NATO remit and loose C78 oversight to conduct the US and allied off-world program that ran from 1947 to 1994.

NATO is no longer directly involved in the program and all personnel and data have been transferred.
