Regimental Dinner & Conference #6

February 3-5 2006

A full Damage Report was delivered to the conference, detailing the consequences of the hostile actions of 26/11/2005 against terestrial UN and associated assets, known by the enemies designation of "Operation Ox-Eye" otherwise known as "Operation Clean Sweap 2" (OCS-II). In addition another critical report arising from CON-56 was also delivered, concerning Gate Identification upon our Gate "spine". Structural/organisational issues were resolved, intel judged, and objectives set for 2006. The conference was considered by all as a great success.

For the first time Marksmanship Trials were carried out, in the so-called "killing tunnel". This is the base's 100 yard long subterainian entrance. Although generally a success, there were technical problems, the consequences of which, were that no meaningful results were achieved. However, it is proposed to evaluate the trials, and restage them later in the year.

Finally, the results of the deliberations of the Promotions Board, were posted, and the granting of decorations, medals and awards for service in 2005 were resolved. As some who have been granted such awards were present at the conferences, they were then notified in person.
