Ref. MoD/397384-096 Dear Candidate, Post a recommendation from an approved third party the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) authorised our organisation to conduct a confidential Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) vetting of yourself. This was deemed satisfactory. In consequence you were sent a standard recruitment email, known as an Email From A Friend, inviting you to make contact with Executive Resourses Inc., an originally British based Private Military Company with offices in New York, Washington D.C. and Geneva, and now registered in the USA. Two things were expected of you; firstly that you would report the contents of the email to a representative of the Service (MI5), and secondly, volunteer to act on our behalf, establish contact with the company, and then report back in due course. This you have done. Having passed this loyalty test, you are now cordially invited to attend an interview at the MoD in London. Prior to doing so, you are required to sign/re-sign the Official Secrets Act (OSA). The objective of the interview is to determine whether or not you the candidate is willing and able to consider being engaged in a permanent classified contract, possibly overseas. Upon agreement, you the candidate will, having signed before witnesses Appendix 78 of the Official Secrets Act (OSA), be put forward to undergo the Developed Vetting (DV) procedure. Only if successful, will you the candidate proceed to Stage 2. On behalf of The Security Service Stage 1. The Official Secrets Act (OSA) NOTICE: clicking "Accept" places you under the Act, subject to it's clauses and penalties, which may include prosecution. At this stage the penalty shall be not less than 10, but not more than 15 years penal servitude in a military prison. If you choose to decline there will be no further contact. If you accept, you will remain under the Act for life, and you will be contacted shortly.
